I had not believed such a thing as WAGFAPE existed in the world, and I am so glad I chanced upon it in my galavanting around the internets.

First off, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING SOMETHING FOR ME OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. I AM SO EXCITE. I am sure I will love WHATEVER you make, and I have no opinions about things in or out of podfics (intros, music, sound effects, or straight up, nothing but words), so GO WILD. Do whatever your heart desires!

Second, I am super easy to please. For one, my number one favorite thing is your happiness. I want you to enjoy reading this story, and enjoy it enough that listening to it again and again while you edit is not (too much) of a chore. So I'd best prefer if you found a story you adored to record so that you get just as much enjoyment out of this as I do. I'd also love for you to read me one of your favorite stories - I feel like that really comes out in a reading, and it's one of my very favorite things in podfic.

Third, I love EVERYTHING. Seriously, just... I love all kinds of stories, all kinds of kinks, tropes, ratings, pairings (or not pairings)... I just love everything. I have a standard list of many many things I love, and another one that changes season to season, but the thing I'm looking for is a story that touches me in some way. Makes me laugh out loud. Makes you laugh out loud! (Some of my most favoritest stories to record were the ones were you can hear the laughter (or tears, gah, so many tears) lurking in my voice. I love those stories.) I'm not afraid of tears, so dark!fic is welcome, but I love laughter and love and cuddles too, if dark isn't your cuppa. I love to see loyalty and steadfastness, mistakes being made and then efforts to fix them (redemption fics are a huge fave), teaching of any sort (teaching in porn is a favorite), found family/team/brothers in arms, all those things are huge buttons of mine.

I like sexy fics, but if you are uncomfortable reading that, I'm happy to receive things that are lower on the ratings scale and/or gen. I prefer queer pairings, so for this fest, if you're going to do sexy times, I'd really rather see F/F (or multi-F/F/F), genderfluid characters, trans! or ace! characters, pretty much anything other than cis het. I love love LOVE platonic het relationships though (god, Olivia & Charlie (red or blue) FOREVER, or Red!Olivia & Red!Lincoln, or Dean & Charlie, I could eat them up with a spoon - as long as it stays completely platonic).

I'll put the few DO NOT WANTS up front here before I go into a bit of detail with my canons. There's only a few, and they are: character bashing, scat, mpreg. I am not super fond of A/B/O, though I must admit a female-centric A/B/O story where the political structure and history and just everything are dealt with does sound interesting. I'm okay with the rest of the normal biggies, though, so if you can do sad or scary or disturbing, I am happy to receive that!

Supernatural

This is a tough fandom for women and genderqueer characters, I will grant you. The women that are there are AMAZING, though, so let my name a few of my favorite characters and pairings. Charlie - ALLLLLLL THE CHARLIE, Dean & Charlie, Sam & Charlie, Dean & Sam & Charlie, Donna, Jody, Donna/Jody, WAYWARD DAUGHTERS, Claire, Claire & Castiel, Abbadon, Linda Tran, Jo, Jo & Ellen, Ellen/anyone, especially crossovers! (I've written Ellen/Aisha (The Losers), and I just stumbled across an Ellen/Buffy the Vampire Slayer. OOOOOOOOOH.) I've heard about Charlie/Jo and I love the concept but haven't read any - I'd be happy to get some of that!

I read a fic a while back that had genderfluid!Sam and I absolutely adored it (I think the pairing was Sam/Cas). I love Sam as genderfluid, or Cas as agender (which is canon, really, despite Castiel's current male (albeit lovely!) meatsuit), and I think there's a fair amount of fic about non-cis versions of Sam or Cas that would make for some lovely reading. I do any and all pairings in SPN, so no worries about stepping on toes there.

Leverage

PARKER. I love all the Parker. Here is, I grant you, one het couple I could take - Parker/Hardison. I love them together and would make an exception for fic about them. I love Eliot and Parker/Hardison/Eliot too, but unless Eliot is genderfluid or agender or something, I'm not really thinking that's for this particular challenge. I love casefic featuring Parker's skillset or introspective vignettes where she looks on her team with love, or pretty much anything about Parker, ever. I do like Sophie, too, but usually more as half of a F/F pairing - Sophie/Tara or Sophie/Maggie are both favorites of mine. I really prefer Parker with Hardison, so unless it's pre-series (or pre-Parker and Hardison getting together), I'd rather not have Sophie/Parker. Genderqueer Parker would be super-mega-awesome!

The Librarians

Cassandraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Seriously, every woman she's ever met (INCLUDING EVE, IN THE FAIRYTALE EPISODE) has fallen deeply in love with Cassandra, mostly at first sight. I love Cassandra, and every F/F pairing with her that exists. Cassandra/Lamia (particularly in that alternate universe) is a fave, as is Cassandra/every female minor character she's been on screen with. Gen fics about Cassandra and magic or becoming part of a team or her brain grape also welcome. I wouldn't turn down OT3 (Cassandra/Ezekiel/Jake) if one of the boys was genderqueer in some way, too. But focus on Cassandra would be preferred. That said, now that I've thought about genderqueer Ezekiel, I would totally go for a story about that, too, that would be brilliant.

Fringe

SO MANY AWESOME WOMEN. Olivia, Bolivia, Astrid (every Astrid, I love EVERY Astrid), Elizabeth (I love every iteration of her too), Nina (love every iteration of her too), Etta, and I'd be into genderqueer versions of Walter, Astrid, Lincoln, Olivia, or Broyles. Fringe is a fandom where I have read almost nothing, so I trust your judgement if this is the fandom of your heart! I'm not terribly into pairings, but I like the canon ones well enough, and mostly the aspect I like about all these folks is the team/family aspect.

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries

Oh, Phryne is wonderful, to be sure, but my heart is with Mac. I love Mac SO MUCH, and would love it if there were a story out there about the fling Mac and Phryne had pre-series. They just seem like they might have had a good time one night (or one week). I love Dot, too, and this fandom really hits my teaching kink pretty hard, so I'd be okay with just about anything as long as it features one or more of these delightful women (OR JANE! I LOVE JANE!). I'd love to see genderqueerness with regard to Mac, or even Jane, maybe, but I'm not particularly interested in any of the men in this fandom, even if they were genderqueer. I like Phryne/Jack and Dot/Hugh as pairings in canon, but I'd rather not have fic focused solely on that.

DUUUUUUUUUUUDE. This is the best idea EVER. 300 words or a sketch not on lined paper. Plus the ability to write treats. Sign-ups through January 7th.

I have no idea if Supernatural folks do this, but I like to write letters, and I cribbed most of what I wrote from my last sign-up anyway, which is what I'm going to do with this letter. So here you go.

First off! I love it. Whatever you've got in mind, I love it. I'm soooooo not kidding. You're making something special for me, you're putting your heart into it. I LOVE IT. No matter what it is. My #1 ironclad rule about exchanges is that I want you to enjoy what you are creating. I will love it for that reason alone. If you're having a hard time of it, scrap everything and just write something that brings you joy.

I seriously read and write everything, so whatever it is you write, no matter how angsty or fluffy, I will read and love it. I love permanent injury fic or deathfic or noncon (I have a thing especially for bondage and AMTDI and impossible choices (and the aftermath of said situations)) or slice-of-life, holiday fics, and domestic fics (I am a fan of domestic fics where nothing more than cooking dinner happens, kidfic, team movie nights). Or mysteries, casefic, missionfic, horror, humor, PWP (gimme the tentacles, ALL THE TENTACLES), if you can think of it, I will love it. I guarantee.

Even my do not likes are not ironclad (except scat) - I like A/B/O that has some interesting twist on it - a way to turn the system on its head. Mpreg isn't horrible, I just prefer that you not focus on the pregnancy part too too much. If you want to have one or the other person just being attentive to the other, or a "how did Rodney get pregnant?!?!!" fic, that's totally cool! Humiliation (especially with John) has been done beautifully and I've loved it, so it's not a complete no-go either. So if you think you have a way to make me love my DNW list, GO FOR IT. Just please, don't write scat. That's one I'm not really interested in learning to love.

I like to give a lot of suggestions as jumping off points, so don't feel like you have to do any of the scenarios suggested above. They're just my attempt at giving inspiration, ways to get the wheels turning, or the muse to spread their fairy dust, or whatever. I don't necessarily want those exact scenarios (though I certainly wouldn't turn them down!), I just want to give you ideas that will inspire something you really want to write.

So, my first, ironclad rule about exchange pieces is that I want to make it as stress-free for my creator as possible. Not sure if I'm supposed to be writing a "Dear Creator" letter for spn_j2_xmas, but I like talking about my likes and dislikes and my fandom and just about everything, ever, so.

Thank you for making something for me! I am SO excited, I cannot even explain how excited I am to do an exchange in this fandom, and that I'm going to get a gift made just for me. I LOVE EXCHANGES, WHEEEEEEE! :D :D :D

First things first: I don't live on LJ anymore. I'm kate over on Dreamwidth, if you're looking to know a little more about me outside of this exchange. I blather about all kinds of things.

Second things second: My number one, absolutely iron-clad rule about exchanges is: I want this to be fun for you. There should be no agonizing. There should be no twisting yourself in knots over a gift for me (unless you want to do that - then, twist away!). My most important rule is that you enjoy yourself while creating it - I will love anything you make, guaranteed.

Third... yeah, you get it: I am nearly unsquickable. I don't have any triggers. I listed a couple of dislikes, but you know, the longer I'm in fandom, the less things I find I don't like. Right now the list is basically scat and mpreg. Mpreg I am super-willing to be convinced I'm wrong about! Scat less so. I'm just... not interested in that, so please do avoid it. As for other dislikes I listed, they're not hard and fast. I've read a/b/o I liked, I just like other things better in this fandom. I listed humiliation because I'm not a fan of humiliation in general, but if you want to go there, and it makes sense for the character, then go there! Go ahead and convince me. Dearest My-Favorite-Person-In-The-Universe-Who-Is-Creating-Something-Just-For-Me,

I love you. Yes, you. Seriously, I may not even know you yet, but I love you. Because I love the Losers, and you love the Losers, and I love fanworks, and you love fanworks, and most of all, because you are making something awesome just for l'il ole me. This makes me grin like this: :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Okay, so now the brass tacks. First off - I requested some things which happen to be a few (very few) of my favorite things, but there is honestly nothing off the table. Just because I chose the things I did doesn't mean I don't love a zillion other things including Cougar/Wade, crack!poetry, or any other off-the-wall thing you can possibly think up. A few of my favorite things are expanded on below, but I love everything, so don't feel like you have to include anything mentioned here if you have some other thing in mind. I am totally easy that way.

Pairings-wise, I asked for either Cougar/Jensen, gen, or Aisha/Clay/Roque. I can totally see all of these things working together, BTW. Like, a heist story/comic/picspam where the pairings are together but it's not at all the focus of the work. I also love straight-up non-relationship gen stuff and on the other end of the scale, romance (floofy or not) and porn. I love everything, seriously. I also love many other relationships, both canon relationships (and friendships) and more shippy things. The femslash possibilities in particular intrigue me: Aisha with anyone is a fascinating dynamic, and Jolene is amazing so I always love seeing more of her. Throw Jensen's sister in there and there is much fun to be had (or cross any of them over with any other awesome ladies!). I love the Clay/Roque bromance of the movie (and can and do support slashy Clay/Roque) and OT4 with Cougar/Jensen/Pooch/Jolene. Any of these things floats my boat, so pretty much, you have free rein in this area.

Character-wise I asked for Aisha, Cougar, and Jensen, but you really can't go wrong with most of the main characters. I admit Clay is not really my thing, so if you're going to create something about him you're going to have an uphill battle with my sensibilities - that's not to say I don't love having my mind changed! If you looooooooooove Clay and you want to show me why, feel free! I love being proved wrong!

Category-wise, I asked for absolutely anything. So for any kind of art, graphics, fic, or meta, I'm going to point you at previous posts of mine, including my first ante up letter, my second ante up letter (sorry, these are obviously fic-focused, but they tell you a lot about my hot-buttons in general), my weird idea for a Max/Wade vid, and my (brief) dissertation on Jensen = Vash the Stampede. These are all just jumping-off points. If you don't really feel any of this, or you already have some Losers fanwork eating your brain, go ahead and do that! I will love anything because I love the Losers and I love you.

Remix: I would love to see any story, piece of art, graphic, or podfic remixed, honestly, because one of my favorite things is to look at the same object from many angles. I ask that you get permission from the original creator first (if they don't have a blanket statement out there somewhere). My own stories and podfics are totally up for grabs and there's a list of folks signed up here and another list of folks signed up here (some overlap). I'd love to see some of Pistol's stuff remixed because I think that there are really interesting possibilities in there for choosing different POVs to reveal information (blanket permission statement in her AO3 profile). I love lady_krysis's stuff too, and I know she gives blanket permission, too.

Podfic: Man, there are so many good stories that I'd love to see podficced. Here's a short-ish list. Anything that resembles anything on this list is totally fair game, too (assuming the author has given blanket permission or you have sought specific permission for the work).

Anything by Pistol, because I can't get enough of her fic, but especially Applied Force (dark!fic, written in 2nd person - it'd be so creepy!), Ten Dollar Rock Stars (OMG Mama Roque would be amazing!), or Between Your Smile and Your Sleight of Hand (more dark!fic, selkie!Cougar and dark!Jensen - so lovely).

Ooooh! Also Resonant wrote Losers fic, holy crap! And it is AMAZING! If you feel like podficcing awesome sexytimes Cougar/Jensen, then Impersonation would be brilliant (also, Res has a blanket permission statement on her profile).

If you're not a Cougar/Jensen person, then anything by lady_krysis will fit the bill, because she's awesome! And writes all the amazing things that are not Cougar/Jensen! In particular I'd love to hear Hard to Get (Aisha/Salt (crossover with Salt)) or Mission Myth Intervention (Clay/Roque Mythbusters crossover).

Oh, yay! I just found storm_petrel's blanket permission statement! That means all hir Losers fic is on the table for podfic or remix! I love all of them, but podfics of these things get louder (or, five times the losers met the a-team) and inside there's an army waiting (for their marching orders from you) (warning - dark and sort-of-but-not-really-deathfic) would be especially nice.

Fanmix: I love everything! Well, mostly everything. There are particular examples of every genre that I don't love, but then, there are particular examples of every genre that I do, so that's probably not much help. I have a Masters in music which means that I am woefully undereducated about popular music. I listen to the radio in bursts, for a few months and then not at all for a year or more, so I almost never have a solid idea of what's popular. I love classical, obviously, and if you put together a Losers opera fanmix I would love you forever. I would also love an alternative-themed Losers fanmix (there's GOT to be a way to do a Losers AU fanmix, yeah?) or a country-western/bluegrass/southern Rock one, or a crazy completely mismatched rap/zydeco/tango thing. Any way you want to try your hand, I will love it - especially if it introduces me to music I don't know (and there is much of that). I have a music tag, but I don't know that it will help, actually. I think that tends to be meta. But maybe worth a look? In the end my thought is: fanmix, yay! Do whatever you makes you happy. :D

Off-The-Wall: I'm not kidding you, I would LOVE a macaroni castle. I have wanted one for about a zillion years. Also, if I get a macaroni castle, my girlfriend has said she will make little chainmail Losers to put in it. :D!!! I thought we might have gotten some interpretive dance out of zoronoa for the big bang this year but no luck. I got a drum solo out of pistolera but then she never posted it anywhere. Please! Feel no shame! Produce the wackiest off-the-wall thing you can think of and give to me! I love all things Losers, and your mashed potato bust of Pooch will find an enthusiastic recipient in me.

General things I adore muchly in my fanworks:

--Families of choice, especially fiercely protective ones.

--Queer people and queer relationships - at any rating! I am a mod at queerlygen and I heartily stand by the idea that just because folks are queer does not mean they can't do everyday things like get their hair dyed and eat yogurt for breakfast. I love asexual characters, poly relationships, non-heteronormative relationships (particularly het ones), androgyny, and QUILTBAG characters. Whether fluffy happy fanworks about a society where no one looks at your twice no matter who you love or a fanwork all about DADT and dealing with being gay in the Army, it's all good to me.

--Were-creatures. I'm not a huge vampire fan, but I enjoy most other supernatural-type elements, particularly the more darkly-tinged stuff.

--Things that make me cry, whether from joy or sadness, I don't care.

--Non-sexual kink. I also like sexual kink, and I also like stories that have nothing to do with sex or kink! Don't feel like you have to include kinky stuff at all. But if you like kink and would like to include it, my favorites are held down, bondage, tentacles (there hasn't really been any Losers tentacle fic, has there?), orgasm denial, and marking. I am kind of all about possessiveness and control.

--I adore really clever fusions and crossovers. Not just jamming two things together (though that can be a lot of fun too), but finding that little quirk that neatly slots two fandoms together and makes them make so much sense!

A few specific prompty type things, should you need something slightly more concrete for inspiration:

--The Losers are in the Olympics! A hockey team, a gymnastics team, a swim relay team (or two), a bobsled team (plus coach? I dunno), whatever.

--The Losers is a traveling carnival! Could be fabulous fun for crossovers.

--I'd love art of Cougar with his hair up in a bun. That shit never gets old. Also, Cougar in a tux, because yum.

--I know very little about the military and would love meta on any (or all!) the Losers' military background. Anything about their histories based on where they are when we meet them in canon.

--I also know little about military equipment, so a picspam/meta about weapons and/or transpo would be awesome.

--I am always up for icons, and I would really love some truly Cougar/Jensen ones, as well as Aisha/anybody, Clay/Roque, Jolene/Pooch, and gen. A set of icons with a throughline would be amazing.

--I'm in the mood for some sweep-you-off-your-feet harlequin romance. I've just been in need of some floofy fun.

--I love forced marriage fics, and I don't think I've seen that done in the Losers fandom. Somebody please write me an AU where Cougar and Jensen are forced to get married and then fall in love?

--I'd also love AU art. The Losers as fairies or New York fashion models (oh, that could be a picspam too!) or at Hogwarts or as actors on a daytime soap or at culinary school (or on Top Chef!) together... how brilliant would that be? Or crack!art - that would be fantastic! The Losers as animals of some sort (kittens, puppies, birds, bugs, whatever) or items in a make-up counter or toys in a kid's playroom! Stories or poetry or knitting patterns of any of these things also awesome!

Hopefully, that is enough to be getting on with. Don't worry about doing everything (I don't think you're worried about that, but just in case - put your mind at ease) - if something strikes you, go for it! If the variety is overwhelming and freaks you out, set this letter aside and just go for the first idea that pops into your head.
