IT'S YULETIDE TIME OF YEAR, YAYAYAY!

Dear Yuletide Author:

Thank you so much for writing a fic for me! I'm very excited to get a fic of my very own! I hope this post will inspire you to write something you enjoy because that would be the best gift of all.

This is my writing journal, so the index at the top should tell you what fandoms I'm currently in and those I've previously been involved in. Some of the writing on here is pretty horrendous; don't feel obligated to read through my entire history of learning how to write. If you want to know a little more about me personally, pop over to my regular journal, kisahawklin. Most posts are public, and I'm not particularly shy, so.

Things I love, all the time: romance, really good gen, slash, and femslash, plot, character development, angst, AUs, crossovers (fandoms I know and love are SGA, LOTR, POTC, Buffy, Firefly, X-Files, House, and Psych... fandoms I know enough that I would love a crossover are Torchwood, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Heroes, bandom, X-Men, and SG1... check my interests and communities for more ideas, if crossovers hit your fancy).

Things I enjoy most of the time: schmoop and fluff, h/c, pwp, mysteries, het, light kink

Things I don't enjoy so much: mpreg, heavy kink, genderswap (though I'm on the fence about it - you could be the person that convinces me!)

If I've requested slash and that's not your cup of tea, no sweat! Gen works just as well for me. I like characters, so anything that shows me something new or interesting about a character (or a situation, for that matter) is great.

I think most of my prompts were a bit hit or miss this year; here's a little wider range if that helps.

Dragonlance (Tasslehoff Burrfoot)
I love kender. They are still perhaps my favorite race in the Dragonlance books. I love Tasslehoff more than most kender. I would like anything from gen sort of kender-love to romance, to epically plotty background and history. These books are such a broad landscape, I'm pretty sure you can write something you'd enjoy and get a mention of Tasslehoff in somewhere!

Bend It Like Beckham (Jess/Jules/Joe)
I love all three of these characters (and actors!) so much. I like the strange triangle-ish nature of their relationship, and I could really go for some OT3 of these guys! In lieu of that, any pairing or gen would completely work, I simply enjoy their characters and would love to see some glimpse of them. Post-movie would be nice, a little glimpse into college life for Jess and Jules, (dorm room femslash, maybe? with a... um. Mention of Joe?). Or maybe a missing scene from the movie where the three of them bond. Anything would be awesome. This is one place where het would be more than welcome!

Ride with the Devil (Jack/Jake/Pitt)
Okay, so TBH, I don't really remember this movie that well, but I do remember my burning desire for slash of any of the above characters! If you like AUs, this might be the perfect opportunity for it, taking these characters and putting them in a mystery or on a spaceship. If you don't do slash, then tell me something about these men that I don't know (which is JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING). I remember enjoying the movie immensely, (and if you write this for me, I will watch it again with GLEE), but what I really remember is wanting more of this story, more of the relationships.

A Knight's Tale (Wat)
ZOMG, IF IT HAS WAT IN IT, I WILL LOVE IT. PERIOD. Seriously. Put him in a relationship with absolutely anyone you want, and I will love it. Put him alone in a room with a pile of food and some ale and I will love it. Put him in a crossover with Firefly and I will love it. Turn him into a girl and I will love it. ANYTHING GOES WITH WAT.

RequestDetail1: I absolutely adore Tasslehoff. Seriously, as long as you mention him somewhere in this fic, I will be a happy camper. If you want to write a Tanis/Flint epic romance and all you do is mention Tasslehoff's topknot, I'd be happy. Of course, I'd adore a gen piece either plotty or character based about Tasslehoff, but seriously. I'd love anything.

RequestFandom2: Bend It Like Beckham
RequestFandomChar2: Jesminder aka Jess Bhamra/Joe/Juliette aka Jules Paxton
RequestDetail2: As long as these three show up somewhere, I am happy. I like any combination of 'ship, and OT3 is a possibility too. I also enjoy their characters and would love to have nice gen fic focusing on any of the three (or combination of the three) if you can't see any pairings.

RequestFandom3: Ride with the Devil
RequestFandomChar3: Jack Bull Chiles/Jake Roedell/Pitt Mackeson
RequestDetail3: Any way you can work all three of these characters into a fic, I would LOVE. I think this movie is *made* for slash, so any pairing of the characters would be welcome, but it's definitely not necessary.

RequestFandom4: A Knights Tale
RequestFandomChar4: Wat
RequestDetail4: I love Wat. I love this movie. Anything you want to write in this universe, as long as Wat's mentioned, would be terrific. I'd love a character piece about Wat and Roland, (or slash - I'm never opposed to slash), or the same for Wat and Chaucer, or even Wat and Kate (which I think could be adorable). Or Wat and food! Wat in any way, shape, or form desired.
