Like a migratory bird, I return to Dreamwidth for snowflake_challenge

It's time, my friends! Lucky sauerkraut goes into the crockpot tonight, I'm writing up end of year summaries, I'm playing Voiceteam Mystery Box, and snowflake_challenge is about to begin!



If you haven't played before, check it out! It is a lovely place that seeks to appreciate all the lovely things we do in fandom, and also gives us fans a bit of time to appreciate ourselves and what we do! Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Similarly, it's 2024 writing challenge signup time - I will tout the one I'm still doing (getyourwordsout, which has an amazing spreadsheet and lots of resources and as much or as little interaction as you like), and mention a few of the others that I have participated in that are still active (inkingitout is a slightly more chill community that I have modded for before, and zwei_hexen is the landing spot for a group of folks that do a "write every day" challenge, and have been for a few years now).

It is good to be back! I saw that, WED, time to climb back on that horse! I have been writing but not keeping track. That's one thing I always start fresh in January, so time to get the spreadsheet up and running.

I think I'll try the challenge this time - or parts of it. :D

I'm working on a fandomtrees gift and already made two so I'm quite happy with my output so far. :D

Woo hoo! That's great to hear! I love fandomtrees and I do enjoy trying to write things for it, this time of year can be very inspiring.

I also love fandom snowflake, but I especially love how there's no pressure and you can do as much or as little as you want. Nice ultra-low-pressure challenge for the start of the year!

I've been slowly doing the Snowflake Challenge; it's indeeed really nice that you can post whenever. XD

Also, I#ve already done quite a few gifts for fandomtrees. Perhaps I'll make one or two more, but I won't write anything then. I always need some time to write. But it's a fun event and I'm looking forward to reveals!
