Not embedded because... well, honestly, I don't know how.

Inception/Leverage mashup trailer.

This was amazing, guys! I can't find a feedback post for it, but it's by [livejournal.com profile] elena_hepburn, I hear, and it's been posted over at [community profile] leverage.

Ooops, missed these yesterday!

Team Play: Goal, a delightful World Cup AU where Rodney is the coach of the US Team and John is their star player. I'm a sucker for sports AUs, so this was great fun.

Team Work: History on the Run, another delightful AU where Rodney works for the Department of Energy and John is a reporter for CNN. Clever premise, wonderful Teyla, loads of fun.

Non-McShep Match:

Let's do some other fandoms, shall we?

In Supernatural, here's a wonderful body-size kink fic with a terrific OFC from the awesome [personal profile] busaikko.

In the Losers, and I cannot believe I have not recced this before: The first eight don't count, by [personal profile] storm_petrel, Jensen is a werecat! :D :D :D And it's not just cracky, it's awesome and strangely touching, too (and not just the Cougar/Jensen bits - the bits with his sister and niece are lovely). Plus Jensen as an honest to god action hero! It's just delightful fun.

I have reced this one before, but I can't help reccing it again, it's SO GOOD. White Collar/Leverage crossover by the amazing [personal profile] fiercelydreamed. I Lie, I Cheat, I Steal (and I Just Don't Get Any Respect). Pitch perfect Hardison voice.

More White Collar:
Quid Pro Quo by [livejournal.com profile] scribblinlenore. Kissing, yay! OT3, yay!

Also, by the lovely [personal profile] shaenie, Contractual Obligations: A Love Story in Three Traffic Lights, a lovely beginning to an OT3 story that I enjoy so very much.

A LIST!

Because I love lists!

+ Another prompt of mine got filled on the SGA Kinkmeme! Ronon, Gen, Worldbuilding. It's fantastic and by someone I know, and I have guesses, but that never ends well, so I shall simply sit on my hands until reveal.

+ Saw Despicable Me last weekend and enjoyed it. I do really wonder at the incredible number of kids movies that have abandoned/orphaned/adopted kids as main themes. WTAF, do the people writing these things have serious abandonment issues or what?

+ Looking forward (OMG SO MUCH) to The Sorcerer's Apprentice tonight! Every once in a while, I actually like Nic Cage, and this looks like so much fun.

+ Okay, yeah. So, White Collar's premiere really did it for me, in a way I was hoping Leverage was going to do, and didn't manage until the Parker episode. AND CAN I JUST SAY MY STUPID DVR RANDOMLY DIDN'T RECORD LEVERAGE TWO WEEKS RUNNING AND NOW I HAVE MISSED THE MOST RECENT ONE?! SO ANGY!!! >:(

+ Psych and Haven are still on my DVR for watching this weekend - as rewards for writing and betaing!

+ Interviews of team members for [livejournal.com profile] mcshep_work and [livejournal.com profile] mcshep_play have gone up on the team sites. Come check out what our awesome authors have to say! Also, any questions you want to ask here, I will include them on my own interview.

+ One McShep Match beta down, two in the works, two more when the stories get done and my own story to write. All before next Friday. D:

+ LJ is deleting and purging not only journals but all posts and comments by journals that haven't been logged into in two years. See [personal profile] bookshop's posts here and here if you don't get why that's distressing. SO. IS THAT 'IMPORTING COMMUNITY' FEATURE ON DREAMWIDTH TOTALLY DEAD YET? (Glad I imported my comments over.) ETA: And thanks to [personal profile] franzi1981 who pointed out that you're not considered inactive as long as you have content (more than a welcome post).
kate: SHAN GIVES TOMO A NOOGIE!!! <3 dorks (30stm: Shan/Tomo)
So, you all got that Leverage started this week, right? I have no idea where to find it if you missed it, but I'm sure you all know about stuff like that (I am an internet moron, make no mistake - [personal profile] soleta often wonders how I have survived as long as I have).

So You Think You Can Dance tonight (MORE MARK, YAY!!!) and Top Chef, too! Dancing and cooking, two of my favorite things!

I'm busy like a ridiculously busy thing, but I'm helping people out with their resumes (I've done enough now that I feel pretty confident about it). If you need help, give me a shoutout, eh? I will walk you through building a better resume in one evening. Or possibly one day, if you do not live in the US. Or some combination thereabouts.

What do you all think about The Losers, huh?

[personal profile] fiercelydreamed wrote pitch-perfect Leverage/White Collar crossover fic. It is the best thing ever. She wins the internet.

Gakked from [personal profile] viklikesfic:

Pick your five favorite TV shows (in no particular order) and answer the following questions.

Stargate Atlantis, So You Think You Can Dance, Criminal Minds, White Collar, Leverage (god, there's like, twelve more I want to list on there! D: )

Cut cut cut... )

Fic &c

So, [personal profile] sabinetzin hosted A Ficathon Walks Into A Bar, and the Master List has gone up!

I wrote a ~2000 word fic for the prompt "Reid walks into a bar and meets... Hardison!" called The Clusterfuck Job, which is rough around the edges because I wrote it in a single afternoon at the absolutely last second, but I still sort of like it anyway.

Some that I've read and have liked:

[personal profile] zillah975 wrote Hope, Ronon Dex and Boromir meeting in a dream bar. Really nice feel for these characters.

[livejournal.com profile] demonqueen666 wrote One Drink to Forget, Another to Remember, Topher from Dollhouse and Snape meeting in a very unusual bar. This is one of my faves from the fest so far.

Cedara wrote Clandestine Meetings, Spencer Reid meets Mozzie in a bar. The premise is brilliant, the execution less so, but it's nice to think about.

[livejournal.com profile] 596spark wrote At the Bookshop, Crowley meets Willow in a bookshop. Nice execution; Willow is a little spread for me (at times, she seems season six-ish, others, season two) but still a good premise and nicely written.

I've only read six, so reccing four of them is a pretty impressive ratio! Go forth and read crossovers! There's a a collection on AO3, too, though I don't think it's complete (as the Master List obviously is).

Oh, and since this is going to be a regular thing (YAY), join [livejournal.com profile] intoabar or [community profile] intoabar if you're wanting to play next time.
