Pick your five favorite TV shows (in no particular order) and answer the following questions.
Stargate Atlantis, So You Think You Can Dance, Criminal Minds, White Collar, Leverage (god, there's like, twelve more I want to list on there! D: )
1. Who's your favorite character in B? Adam Shankman! With Travis Wall as a really close second.
2. Who's your least favorite character in A? This is tough. I love most of the major characters, and like the ones I don't, but the villains are some of the best characters... I love Todd and Kolya. Oh hey, Lucius Lavin. I hate him a lot.
3. What's your favorite episode of D? The pilot. I like Diana.
4. What's your favorite season of E? First. I tend to like first seasons.
5. Who is your favorite ship in C? I don't have a ship in C! Dammit! I guess I like the canon 'ships well enough (Hotch/Haley, Garcia/Kevin, and JJ/Will).
6. Who is your anti-ship in B? Erm? I actually HAVE a 'ship - Travis/Ivan - but no anti-ship.
7. How long have you watched A? I started mid-season 2, and watched it through to the end, and watched most of it several times.
8. How did you become interested in C?soleta was both patient and canny. I have this thing, you see. I like guys with long hair. Really. There are other traits I like (and Reid hits every one of my damn buttons) but long hair pretty much does it for me every time. So she'd watch it while I was in the room. And I'd look up every once in a while and see this guy with long hair, and go, 'huh.' And then I saw the ep with Garcia and Morgan and the ambulance, and I said... Okay, hook me up. And swallowed three seasons of CM in two weeks. AWESOME.
9. Who's your favorite actor/actress in D? I like the woman who plays Diana (Marsha Thomason) and the guy who plays Jones (Sharif Atkins). Oh, and Mozzie (Willie Garson)! Ooooh, and June (Diahann Carroll)!
10. Which do you prefer: Show A or B or E? So You Think You Can Dance. I love SGA to death, but it has issues (if you had asked about my fave fandom, SGA would win hands down). I also love Leverage, but it's nowhere near the level of SGA or SYTYCD glee.
11. Which show have you seen more episodes of, A or C? Really close to the same. I've seen all of both to date, and they both have had 5 seasons. Next year means there will be more season of CM than SGA, and this answer will be more definite.
12. If you could be anyone from D, who would you be? Mozzie. I love being the person who can do it all and give someone else info and help.
13. How would you kill off your favorite character in A? Rodney? D: I guess, if he has to die, I'd like it to be while saving Atlantis. Of course, I am actually writing a Rodney deathfic, but he just dies of old age. Does that count? I like that.
14. Give a random quote from A? IN-VUL-NER-ABLE!
16. Would a C/D crossover work? CM/White Collar? HELL YES. The FBI is responsible for so many crossover possibilities!
17. Pair 2 characters in A that would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple. JOHN SHEPPARD AND RODNEY MCKAY. Also, I've always honestly thought that Ronon and Keller would make a nicely paired couple. I was sad to see them pull the plug on that relationship.
18. Has E inspired you in any way? Um. No. I'm not cut out for cons.
19. Overall, which show has a better cast, B or D? Since SYTYCD doesn't have a cast (well, except the judges, some of whom I love, some of whom I want to kill) I'll go with White Collar.
20. Which has better theme music, C or E? Oh, I love the Criminal Minds theme music. I can't actually think of the Leverage music, so I guess CM wins!

Ew. I already know you can't picture Reid with anyone on the team...don't judge me! ;)

And I do have one, brief, almost-PWP Hotch/Reid moment that I would LOVE to see written (and also can't imagine writing myself, because Hotch would be cheating and I think Reid'd have to be kind of aggressive, which I think is a bit OOC for him at that point in canon. But I want to see them have an adrenaline make out session in the car after they get locked in the room with that serial killer who says he's going to kill them, and Hotch rips off his tie, like, I'm gonna kick your ass and then Reid saves them by talking his head off. I HAVE WANTED THIS FIC SINCE I SAW THAT EPISODE.
I get Reid/Morgan - there are some nice moments there. I don't at all get Reid/Rossi, as I'm not a huge Rossi fan. I like Morgan/Garcia too, actually. But Reid, god love him, I just... don't really want to read about him and people on his team. *shrug* Though - I love his little girlfriends, the starlet and the bartender. I think they're ADORABLE and would love to see or read more about them both. I even have a whole timeline around the bartender, based on Reid's clothing/hair. No, really.
Also, no judging! I don't begrudge anyone their 'ships. <3

Also, I want to read your Hotch/Reid moment, except I don't read cheating fic (unless someone I love and trust wrote it). That is a HUGE squick for me. I only read Hotch/Reid fic where he's already divorced - or at least separated and on the way. But. I have gotten to the point (TOO MUCH READING OF SLASH, I THINK) that the more I love a character - the more I want him slashed. IDK! I just about can't read het anymore. :( I am a freak. Eeps. I sort of wanted to smack the little starlet and the bartender and defend Reid's honor. LOL

on 4/12/10 06:27 pm (UTC)And for other het pairings I like, see Psych: Shawn/Jules (even though I've written Shawn/Lassiter fic), the CM het pairings I listed in the entry, Teyla/anyone (that fits femslash too, as I love Teyla/Elizabeth and Teyla/Kate), Parker/Hardison or Parker/Hardison/Eliot... yeah. I like canon het pairings, generally. And I don't mind them screwing up an OTP (like I said, willing to go with Rodney/Jennifer, even though I'm a die hard McShep fangirl).
And I love slash like burning, but I don't generally go in for cheating, so people involved in het relationships are sort of off the market for me, generally. That's one of the major reasons I enjoyed Hotch and couldn't imagine Hotch slash - even after the divorce you know he was still in love with Haley.
I liked Reid's little girlfriends because he was so sweet and naive... it was cute. Oh shit, I have to finish my fic for

on 4/12/10 06:30 pm (UTC)I didn't like it AT ALL. I mean, why did we have to spend an episode of CM on the SPINOFF? Why couldn't the CM people just play in their pilot? SO FRUSTRATING. It wasn't at all a CM episode, it was a spinoff ep - to the point of slick graphics and crap. NOT HAPPY. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. >:(
That said, I'm totally going to watch the show, because Forrest Whittaker kicks ass. :D
