Fucking hell.

+ I am done in Philly! THANK THE LORD.
- Chicago is a complete and utter lie. I am not doing what they said I'd be doing, and in fact, it is not fun work at all and this is going to be a long and shitty six weeks. WHOOPEE.
- Jeeves is doing that circling thing again.
-- When we took Jeeves to the vet, they found out he was diabetic (new since the last time this happened) and won't give us steroids to fix his circling. We got insulin and a neuro consult. WHOOPEE.
-------------- WHAT THE EVERLOVING FUCK, DUDE MY AIR CONDITIONER SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME. I turned the light off and settled down to sleep, and there was this double tapping noise on the table next to me. Taptap. Taptap. Louder, softer, stuttering. I was like... okay, stuff is settling from the cold air? But IT KEPT GOING. For like, twenty minutes.
I tried to sleep, no dice. I could just picture a creepy little girl ghost fucking curled up next to the bed taptapping on my fucking table. I finally got up the courage to turn the light on, and the taptapping moved to the desk. And then the side of the bed. And then when I looked under the bed, back to the desk. WHAT THE FUCK, DUDE. SO FUCKING FREAKY.
Then the air conditioner turned off and so did the fucking noise. Thank fuck. Fuck, my mind is a scary fucking place.
Dammit, the fucking air conditioner turned back on again, and there's the fucking tapping noise. Goddammit.
That's all the news that's fit to print, hope my non-ghost story was fun for a laugh, and hiiiiiiii. Life sucks right now, sorry. :(
ETA: Actually - no it's not. There's less than a week to sign up for gishwhes. We're team velociraptor, and we are most definitely not being competitive about this thing, we're in it for the kicks and to get our feet wet. Next year, we'll be playing to win (ha, maybe) but this year, we're just in it to have a good time. So come join us? It's $18.87 to register, but it's supposed to be amazing and lifechanging, and whatever whatever. So.... join? We have six slots left. :D

Have you heard anything about this conference call you can get into if you call the gish help line (310-694-5844)? Apparently there's a ton of easter eggs hidden in there, and referrals to fake sites such as mishacollins.xxx. I haven't really explored it, but I've seen a few ppl on twitter go crazy and I'm just trying to figure it all out. :D

I have called that conference call and gotten all kinds of stuff. I spent two hours on it the first night it went up, including 90 minutes on the conference chat with the girls that eventually spoke to Misha. I'm super-duper jealous, and also sad I had to go to bed and miss it.
