I haven't seen Bridesmaids yet, but I've been recced it so highly; I keep meaning to check it out because it's been recced by people I trust. All the reasons that people are reccing that? They're the reasons I'm reccing this. (Great friendships between women, the romance is not sappy and not front and center, speaking of front and center, a collection of truly wonderful supporting lady characters, and then, THERE'S MUSIC. AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING MUSIC.)
I bought it in my hotel room last night (I get a free movie as a perk, no worries), and not only did I watch it all the way through gleefully, I immediately recced it tomeghanc, rewound it to the beginning and watched it again with her.
So amazing. I was up until 5am last night (writing pinch hits, too, not just the movie, though that made it awesome) and I don't mind at all. SO. GOOD.
