I wrote what?

We saw Priest tonight. I am still thinking about it, so no post, but feel free to ask me about it if you like (I'm not likely to post, honestly - there's no real strong feelings or enough thinky thoughts to make it worthwhile).

However, I did write fic. Because Karl Urban and Paul Bettany and brotherly love and all that.

Temptation, Priest/Black Hat, ~650 words, R for sexual themes.

Should I write again, it will probably be curtain!fic with Paul Bettany and Maggie Q, but I'd really rather someone else wrote that for me. Anyone?

It's not drippy/bloody, no. It's basically fight-y along the Resident Evil lines. If I'm reading you right, it should be right up your alley.

All the main heroes live in the end (at least the ones that are remotely sympathetic); there are three redshirt priests and Black Hat starts out as a priest and becomes a baddie, so... I'm not sure where that counts in the scheme of things. There is also the death of a couple of characters to feed the Priest's angst; we don't know them well, but they're of great importance to the Priest.

Some of the fight scenes are just beautifully choreographed and shot. There are a few editing and directing glitches, and some characterization problems, but it's very pretty and entertaining enough to keep me happy for a couple of hours. I'd give it a thumbs up. :D
