I wrote what?

We saw Priest tonight. I am still thinking about it, so no post, but feel free to ask me about it if you like (I'm not likely to post, honestly - there's no real strong feelings or enough thinky thoughts to make it worthwhile).

However, I did write fic. Because Karl Urban and Paul Bettany and brotherly love and all that.

Temptation, Priest/Black Hat, ~650 words, R for sexual themes.

Should I write again, it will probably be curtain!fic with Paul Bettany and Maggie Q, but I'd really rather someone else wrote that for me. Anyone?

WHAT?!

The internet failed to give me advance warning! The poster title caught my eye today, but the poster itself was so generic I didn't check the details.

I must see this thing!

Possibly alone. You know, privately. Gah!

Does it have a plot? Is it based on a comic book? Will it feed my religious horror kink? Did the one Aramaic scholar in Hollywood (my vision of the world) get work from this movie?

I do not know a movie named Silas. There probably are several characters, but I am stuck on only remembering the one in Highlander. I have a feeling, though, you mean something more recent that I've missed.

Ah. No. Not even my love of Sir Ian McKellen was enough to watch the Da Vinci Code, so I missed that performance.

My main joy is for Karl, but I can definitely indulge in some Bettany, especially as he has a skill for looking as a person and making clear that he is just now thinking of exactly which sex acts one would be most likely to weep for admitting enjoying.

Yes, yes, oh my god yes, and I have no idea.

It was pretty. Paul and Karl were fantastic, as was Maggie Q. There were some slips, mostly in the editing/directing, but it was decent. Karl was pretttttty.
