I've got 3000 words so far today, but I'm behind on MayNoWriMo, so I'm off to write or die. It's better when I'm doing word wars, so if you're here and looking for someone to write with (or against!) lemme know. (Also, I'm honestly going to try to finish my music fic by Thursday of next week. Because So You Think You Can Dance starts. And I have a SYTYCD/SGA fusion that's just BEGGING to be written, but I can only seem to be inspired by the show itself.)

It's a bit of a stretch - I'm look at 25-30k words in five days. I dunno man. Maybe two weeks. That seems a little less crazy.

Even writing that much in two weeks is mind blowing to me. It took me two weeks to get out my bathroom porn. But I'm still soooooooo happy you'll be working on the music fic! \o/ I didn't want to bug you about it because I know how busy work as been for you :(

Yeah, work has been a bitch. But the stall has more been that I had a bunch of fics I wanted to get done (the whole 'Variations on a Theme of John Sheppard' seriously derailed me for months, and then there was the crossover porn, the paper clips, and the fairy tale). But now that those are all done, I'm ready to pick it back up again and work through it till I'm done.

I can do that many words, easy, as long as I've got everything plotted out beforehand. Work is still pretty busy, though, so I'm not sure I'll be able to do 5000 words a day.

Well, things happen, you know. It's okay - the official one isn't till November. We can try again in August! I did it once in August a couple of years ago.
