I don't know if you do Yuletide or not, but I really think you all should (as should any of you with small fandom desires!) because look at some of the fandoms on that list!

You should sign up! You could write some of these fandoms (particularly RPF, I think) quite well! And then someone would write you fic in return!

Yes, yes there is! And news peoples and artists, and... seriously. Take a look at the available fandoms. It's INSANE.

Both Aaron and Brett are available in the RPF - Gridiron Football, and Keith Olberman in RPF - pundits aka news correspondents. There's Master and Commander, the movie, Strangers with Candy... plenty of things you could write. You might want to look at RPF - Sex Pistols and the listing of people under RPF - Misc actors.

Oh come now! I'm sure you could put together a lovely thousand word fic! I'd be willing to soundboard and/or beta for you! And then you might get a Patrick O'Brian flavored Christmas present!

Don't you have to offer more than one fandom? I'm really only very comfortable in Aubreyad fandom. :/ *cringes*

And sure, you can post it on the Read. It might have a larger audience on Perfect_Duet, though.

You have to offer three, and you get four requests (though three of them have to be from different fandoms).

And they have Patrick O'Brian AND the Master and Commander movie - both of which you could write, I'm sure! That leaves over 2600 fandoms for you to choose from. I'm betting you can find one other thing you could knock out 1000 words for. Come on! You can do it! *cheers*

It's a fic exchange. You get to request four fandoms, and you have to volunteer to write at least three (but you'll only have to write one of them). You write a story, you get a story. It's AWESOME, and makes so much awesome fic for Christmas!

You should do it, and TOTALLY convince gayalithiel to do it too!
