So much stuff going on right now!

Hey! Totally intended to post more and now am in the middle of Voiceteam and... have not.

I have posted a few podfics and other audio works (I'm doing a massive cold read 1 chapter a day that's been a blast). But I haven't been posting here because I'm feeling just a bit overwhelmed.

Fannish things I currently have on my plate:

* MXTX Bargain Bin WIP exchange
* The end of voiceteam, week 4 challenges in progress
* I'm helping with sunshine_challenge which is rolling up here soon
* I just found

which I intend to attempt in order to get me posting more!

And, as always, I'm still writing on my current WIP, which I love and do want to finish but there's just... a lot going on right now. (And of course there are 2 more WIPs in the folder, beyond the two challenge fics up there, but I haven't touched either one in ages.)

UGH SO MUCH. What's going on with y'all?

Hi, nice to see you again! I'm working on original fic, which I've been posting to my writing filter for now (no idea if you're on that, I'm pretty sure not, but let me know if you want to be) because I'm probably going to up and post it to Amazon when I'm done with it.

Plus I signed up for a opentheiris for a Stargate Big Bang because...why not? And I'm writing Vala and Sheppard and trying to decide if it's turning into Vala/Sheppard (which it will if I can figure out any thinly-veiled excuse to get those two into bed, fuck's sake, it should not be this difficult), but it's slow going right now because I'm trying to drag feelings out of John and that's impossible.

Otherwise, trying to survive in the world, as usual, and keep things going, as usual.

I'm glad to see you're around and creating/working on things, but I'm very glad you're posting here! I've missed hearing what's going on with you.

A Stargate Big Bang, that's excellent - I love how that fandom has persevered. And SGA just keeps seeming to gain more and more new fans. Is it the same with SG-1?

AMEN. Ughhhhh I am so stressed right now it makes me tired to think of it.

I do enjoy posting here, I just have so many things I'm juggling, and with work being ridiculously over the top, it's just one thing too many, I guess. But I'm trying because I do love it here the best.

I'll be honest, I don't think I'm in the fandom zeitgeist anymore, I kind of hang out in the backwaters of fandom! But when I hit up Tumblr to look for SG1 stuff, it's there and I think it's not all older fans, so I think it's growing?

I feel you on the stress, I had my eye twitching earlier, I am. Yeah.

I understand juggling everything! I just lose track of usernames and I'm not 100% sure of your usernames other places, so. I'm not actually sure if I have you on Tumblr or Twitter! I just know I do have you on ao3.

Yeah - a lot of younger folks are finding older fandoms, it is A DELIGHT. I love it. I can't do Twitter (toooooo much, too much emotion, too much traffic, too little control) and I do tumblr mostly from a polite distance. Most of my more actual perons-based interactions have moved to discord, weirdly. It's a good place to actually be able to talk to people, which is nice.

Ah, I'm an old - I'm kisahawklin everywhere. There only reason I'm kate here is that I cheat, and I got an invite code super early and nicked the name before anyone else could. :) What about you - are you havocthecat everywhere?

Twitter is one of those things that I heavily, heavily curate (turn off retweets, block words liberally, etc.) and mostly only interact with folks I know on twitter. I interact with tumblr in the same way that you do, mostly at a distance and occasionally reblogging Stargate memes and such.

I love Discord! Do you have a good server you're on? That you can rec?

Being the same username virtually everyplace is so useful! As was getting an invite code super early here so you could be kate!

Sounds like you twitter the way I tumblr. I have so much blocked on tumblr that I only see maybe two-three posts per page of my dash lol.

I think all of my servers are fandom or niche specific, hang on, let me check.

Yup, I've got podfic servers, C drama (mostly MDZS and MXTX) servers, specific event servers (con.txt, voiceteam, my D&D group, etc.) and that's pretty much it, sadly. A lot of my interaction is through DMs, weird enough. What kind of server are you interested in?
