Dear Fandom,

Thank you for bringing me so much happiness for so many years. Thank you for bringing me countless wonderful friends, experiences beyond my wildest dreams, and my wife. The amount of joy that participating in fandom has brought me is truly beyond measure, and for that, I will forever be grateful.

Thanks! What an excellent thought exercise! I think there probably would've been less leisure time for most of us, but even so. I imagine people have always been fannish about things, you know, just... different things.

We were pretty lucky, and it's been pretty great. We're happy and it's a good partnership, even though we're not in the same fandoms anymore. Just keeps things interesting. :D
