The guest spots stole the show. THE GREEN BAY PACKERS, YO. And they were fucking AWESOME. Good job, Pack! *squishes them* Pentatonix as the group from Canada, ha!
Best part: Beca's confused sexuality. And the two girls named Jessica that seemed to be dating? Lots of gay to go around, actually, it was quite nice.
Not perfect, there were definitely issues with race and nationality, and too much squicky humor for me (Fat Amy sometimes is lovely and sometimes is too much for me), but some lovely moments. Also Beca and her storyline (and the new girl and her storyline, and the TWO romances) just a bit much, really. I think their problem is that they tried to do WAAAAAAY too much in a little two hour space.
But the best thing! :D :D :D I stayed for the credits, and there was a scene of Bumper auditioning for the voice! It was awesome right up until he got creepy all over Xtina. :(
But no, now the REALLY best part: There was a dude in the credits (a grip, I think), named Jake Alvarez. And my mind just went... huh. Jake took Cougar's name when they got married. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
