on 12/14/14 06:05 am (UTC)And it's interesting bc I'm straight and have only had het sex, but I just don't often read about it, or seek it out. Maybe I just don't want to hear about it, or maybe it's just the descriptions make me crazy. :P Either way, I'm quite happy with het.

I've had het sex (not particularly inspiring het sex, but whatev), and I've read a fair amount of mainstream het, but these days, the sex just leaves me cold. It's usually written really horribly - just awkward and with terrible sex words (omg, fucking "mound" just NO). The het I enjoy in fanfic is usually written by slashers or femslashers because I like the style of their sex writing better than full-on het writers.
