Fandom Snowflake Challenge

Hm, this is a toughie for me, as I'm not particularly active on communities these days, I've been tending to fail at challenges, and the sites I'm thinking of aren't community-based, so... I guess I will just pick a few that I like.

tv_talk is kind of like a slow-motion episode squeefest. There are a bunch of different shows over there, and folks comment on the episodes when they feel like it, whether that's when they air or when they get around to watching, or weeks later. It's fun to discuss eps without the stress of typing while I'm watching (I tend to miss things when I do that).

thevault is s members-only comm to get what you need for your fannish activities, if you know what I mean.

awesomeers is like Monday Pride Thread every day. There are monthly and weekly challenges and a frequent (not-quite-daily) awesomeness post where you can check in with something you did that day that you are proud of (and cheer others on).

lol "slow motion episode squee fest" - that's about right. I feel like such a loser; I am supposed to be helping make it faster motion. but I've been lagging. Still, I really like it; it's one of the only comms not on tumblr for tv squee, that i'm aware of.

Don't feel bad! I like tv_talk a lot - it really suits the way I do Supernatural - which is really not the same as a lot of people do it, I think. The pace here is not the same as tumblr - you're never going to get it to be that fast. But it's also generally more thoughtful, I think, so the comments take more time but have more weight. And that's okay! That's the whole point of having different media for this sort of thing.
