That Yuletide meme (which I wasn't going to do because a couple of my stories (including one of my favorites) are under pseuds. But then I decided I liked my other Yuletide stuff too, so I'll put those up and just live with it. Also, I'm procrastinating on both my solstice_calendar treat and my Yuletide pinch hit.


2007

This was my first Yuletide and I signed up for just about everything I knew anything about. I had to rewatch the series (thankfully just half a season) to be able to do this one, and then, even after that, I made a major boo boo. Still, I was pretty happy with this, for a first Yuletide effort.

2008

This was the bright shining moment that I was writing Psych. I hadn't really considered Shawn/Gus (even though I usually love buddy pairings), so I went with kid!fic. Lots of fun to write this one. :D

I tend to pick up Alexander things as treats/pinch hits because I know I can knock that shit out it no time. I can always jump right back in to the fandom, like I never left.

2010

I picked this pinch hit up just before me, soleta, and the_wanlorn got on the road home for Christmas vacation. the_wanlorn drove and I wrote furiously in the back seat. I hit 2k words on a story (that's still in the works) before I realized I was never going to finish it in time for Christmas. So I sat down and wrote some more porn instead. I swear, I don't really like porn that much! I just seem to write a lot of it...

What We Have and What We Keep (1009 words)

Summary: Hephaistion refrained at Gaugamela, but only out of respect for Alexander. He went alone to his own tent and wondered if it was is truly as difficult for Alexander to be alone with his great ideas, as Hephaistion was alone with his heart full of lust and love for Alexander and his mouth full of unspoken, unlucky words.

Nothing in 2011 (so uninspired last year) and there'll be a pinch hit this year - not Alexander! - and hopefully a few treats (maybe Alexander).

I've got two other stories, too: one that's currently only on the Yuletide archive under a pseud of a pseud and another that I've moved over to the AO3 under my other writing pseud (that I don't admit exists). I really like that second one - I wish I could put it under my regular AO3 account, but it's got comments and stuff so I don't want to move it.
