One sentence fic meme.

I'm sure there have been a number of these before, but I am making one up on the spot because I need some joy right now.

Give me a fandom and at least one other thing (prompt, kink, pairing, color, whatever) and I will attempt to write you a one sentence fic.

Fandoms on offer: The Losers, SGA, early SPN (as in, S1), Elementary, Arrow, Buffy/Angel, Firefly, Alexander (2004) (or maybe Renault-verse, though it's been a while), Marvel Cinematic Universe (I love the name of this fandom - it sounds so cool! (not that Avengers doesn't)), Priest, Push, Die Hard 4, The Mummy, Master and Commander, The Fast and the Furious, basically almost any semi-popular U.S. movie ever (I'll let you know if it's not something I can do), Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings (RPF there too), Temeraire, the Belgariad and Mallorean.

Also, I'm not current on the following, but I'll give them a try, provided you choose something from at least a year or two ago: Leverage, Criminal Minds, Haven, Revenge, White Collar, Psych... and anything else I've mentioned in passing on this journal.

Hahahah, glad to hear it! I'm S2E6 now, and I just am really loving these two boys and their stupid inability to act like rational human beings. :D

I love going back and watching the earlier seasons. They look so young!

I started with season 4, because I kinda love Misha Collins, and then I went back and watched from the beginning and I've pretty much loved all of it.

I've gotten through seasons one and two before... I'm hoping I can keep it going through all of them this time. :D

Well, you have to at least get through 5, which is the natural end to the storyline Kripke originally planned. And if it helps keep you motivated to keep watching, season 3 has a lot of fun episodes even though it's a shortened season. :)

Well, I'm determined, actually, due to Reasons, to get to the point where Sam snaps his fingers. If you know what I'm talking about, please don't spoil me. It's a moment I saw and I was suddenly all "..." and then all "!!!!!!!" and then all "what the fuck, SPN better be on Netflix, dammit!"

Hmmmm, I can kind of picture it, but I'm not even sure which season that's in, although, I have a guess, which I won't tell you. Do you know where you saw it?

EDIT: Nevermind, just had a total "duh" moment. :) I know exactly when that happened. :D

Yeah, I know exactly where, and I can't talk about it, unfortunately. :( It's a surprise. But it was just this moment, and I was like... "holy shit, I may have to watch canon just to fucking see that." Because it wasn't just the moment (though it was, kinda), it was that I have to know what in the world built up to that, and then I have to experience that moment within the context it's supposed to be in.

Are you a shipper in SPN? Dean/Cas?

Those are better reasons than why I started watching, lol. Mine was just because I thought Misha Collins was hot and wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

Yep, I'm a Dean/Cas shipper, even wrote an alcohol-fueled fic over spring break this year that I sometimes cringe over when I reread, but I'm not a tinhat. I've even found some Sam/Dean that I was surprised to like.

Well, I'll read anything, and I'm sure I've read Sam/Dean - actually - I'm pretty sure I read a super-angsty one from way back (by traveller) - actually, I can't believe this, but I FOUND IT (this is MASSIVELY impressive, you have no idea how hard I fail at finding things I vaguely remember fic-wise). Rituale Romanum, which is not only incest, but also priest!fic. Yeah, Sam and Dean are priests. I have no idea. Traveller is... was... well. We knew each other (I've met her IRL). So we were friendly-ish at that point and I was ridiculously enamored of her writing (still am, I love her style), so I read whatever she wrote.

Um, I think I had a point up there. I dunno. I'm not a huge reader of SPN fic, but I will probably go looking for specific things as I watch? I get the Sam/Dean stuff in the early seasons, I mean - I get why people would want that? But I don't need it. Dean's single emo tears are enough for me. I'm hoping that I actually want to read Dean/Cas because I've seen some gorgeous stuff go by for it. *shrug* We'll see where it leads me. I'm having a good time with the rewatch right now, at any rate. Can't wait to get to eps I didn't see the first time around. :D

I know exactly what you mean about not being able to find anything. I could rec you SO many Dean/Cas fics that I loved, only I'm not sure I can remember what they're called or who wrote them. /o\ My favorite fanwork was a vid, anyway, which is really unusual for me. Once you catch up, I can link you if you want.

I, literally, lol'd at Dean's single emo tear.:D He does the crying bits so well! I only read a Sam/Dean fic because I was curious why it had such a huge following. I find I can only read it if it's pr0n, the kinkier, the better. To this day, the hottest story I've read, in any fandom, was a Sam/Dean fuck-or-die story. On the other hand, fic that's all about fluff and romance between them gives me the heebee-jeebee's. Yeah, IDK, I'm weird like that.
