I may have another pairing. To wit: Will rubbed his thumb up and down Cole's shoulder after they'd been declared bottom 2 and were waiting for commercial, and Cole's FACE after Will's "best moments" package. He was clearly heartbroken. OMG. Cole is brilliant and somber and Will is a little puppy dog. HOW CUTE ARE THEY OMG.

I do not have time for this.

Hahahahahah I AM SO GLAD I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE! I noticed the shoulder rubbing and went, "huh" and then COLE'S FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE OMG!!!!!

I was so disengaged by that point that I totally was not watching the screen. It's possible that I had my eyes closed, resting until the episode was over and I could get on with my life.

That said, we never see Cole being* silly, just acting silly, so I support anything that gets more smiles in his life. once this crying is over with, clearly.

Really? That's so fascinating! This is one of the first episodes of the season that I've cared at all. I liked almost all of the dances.

Yeah - exactly, about Cole. It's why I like this pairing. But no writing it until my big bang is live, omg!

I'm just so over Cyrus being safe every week while everyone goes home around him. (Yes, his style is amazing, but I wish they'd sent him away for a year to learn some basic competency in anything else, cause he totally could.) And a little bit I had Nigel's voice in my head saying "it's not America's best dancer, its America's *favorite* dancer," and anything that makes Nigel's voice echo makes me grumpy.

Up until that point, though, yes, last night's show was probably my favorite this season.

Honest. Cole could climb Will like a tree. They are (were) (would be) ridiculous together.

Ah, well, yeah, I get that. The dancers this season are not my favorite bunch, tbh, and they don't seem to have the deep friendships that are one of my favorite parts of the show. Also, they're so young! I don't get the same emotional connection. I find it less interesting if I don't feel connected to the dancers.

I don't mind Cyrus, actually, though that's probably more because I wasn't really attached to any of the dancers that went home - until Will. It reminds me of my whole Travis-love season two and Will love season... what, 4? People just don't care who's honestly the best dancer, and I totally understand how that can be frustrating.

I fast-forward through almost everything Nigel says. Or turn off my brain, if I'm watching live. I just... he's such a douchebag. :(
