kateI need to spare you all from my horrific work times right now, and there's something else I've been doing that needs talking about. Oh, hey, right - two things.
1. I put in two grant applications for the OTW! One is for servers for the vidding project. I really hope we get that one. I hope we get them both, but servers for the vidding project would be so cool.

Honey with Money to Burn, John/Ronon, prostitute!John in a nicely built yet subtle AU. A practical and interesting look at the prompt (read that first - it's quite interesting).
Hold On Elizabeth/Teyla, held down. Again with the hot like a superhot thing! (This was my prompt too... :D)
Feeling Purple, John solo. There's a nice continuity here - some thoughtful characterization going on.
John/Rodney, fucking machines. Hilarious misinterpretation of the prompt.
Prompts I'd love to see filled (and no, these aren't mine... well, maybe one - and not the Alton Brown one):
Evan/John, Jeeves & Wooster fusion. Going by fanon, Evan would make an amazing Jeeves, and who better to be his Wooster than John? :D [Okay, I have no idea how this would work but if someone did it, it'd be AMAZING.]
Atlantis/John, mind control. I'd really like a darkish fic where Atlantis lures John to do things or go places because Atlantis gets off on it. Whether John's aware of it or not and whether or not he agrees with it (to keep Atlantis on the expedition's side, or because he gets something out of it too), I want Atlantis manipulating John for its own pleasure. Preferably from Atlantis's POV, though a third person POV might be interesting. [Not much else to say there, is there? Except for some reason I feel like this could be upbusaikko's alley...]
John/Ronon, bodice ripper AU, Lord Patrick Sheppard, struggling under the weight of huge gambling debts, sells his oldest son's troth to Ronon Dex, a rich upstart. Ronon is initially only interested in the connections such a marriage would bring him, but he soon becomes enchanted by his young husband's intelligence and stubborn independence. John goes into the marriage wanting nothing more than a chance to escape Mr Dex's secluded manor and run to London, but before he knows it, he's falling for the very man that's robbed him off his dreams... Bonus points for virginal, yet insatiable!John and rough!sensual!Ronon, just to keep with the romance novel theme. [Ahahaha, so lovely and cracky!]

A prompt of Elizabeth/Steven, blowjob, just doesn't do much to get my creative juices flowing (not that I wouldn't read the heck out of a hot Elizabeth/Steven blowjob fic).]
Katie/Laura, frottage. Set after Duet, Cadman comes clean about who really kissed Katie at dinner that night. Lots of rubbing up against each other ensues, bonus points if Cadman's packing. [Um. Yes please.]

Ronon, any pairing or gen, pampering on vacation. For whatever reason, Ronon and his partner (or Ronon and the team) visit a resort. Ronon is skeptical at first, but ends up really getting into massage and hot tubs and spa treatments and lying around by the pool with nobody shooting at them while people bring them drinks and snacks. [I love this idea so much. Plus more Ronon is always brilliant.]

There is an amphibious creature there not unlike an Octopus who requires humans to breed, and the entirety of Atlantis becomes its sex toys. And they secrete a substance that, when they're fucking the humans with their tentacles, make the humans completely and totally forget that there's anything wrong or anything more to life but feeling and sensation and orgasms. [Tentacles!!! There are 6 tentacle prompts! :D :D :D]
I really just want Rodney and Alton Brown beating on each other with their massive brains. (Not literally. Ew.
