1. The Moonlight Sonata? Really? Soooooo cliche and too slow to boot. (I think there may be a post about the music of the skaters... the pairs was really interesting and I have ~thoughts~ about it.)

2. What is with the creepy, menacing music backgrounding the little segment on Plushenko? He's not actually an evil dictator.

3. Who's going to write me the SGA AU where Johnny Weir is Elizabeth's little brother?

Did I miss Johnny Weir??? Have you caught any of the pairs skating? Some of it was absolutely gorgeous, some if it was kind of like "Hmmmm I see what you were trying to do buuut..."

I missed everything because I wa sleeping, stupid timezones. And on national TV here (I don't have cable sport channels) they won't show the whole programs. I am SO FRUSTRATED. :/

Yeah, black seems to be a recurring theme in the costumes for the men. Though I didn't mind Johnny Weir's little pink and black corseted number.

We watched all the pairs... it's not really as interesting as singles, I'm afraid, at least not for me. I was glad the Chinese couple won, though.

Short program was last night, long program is tomorrow night. I cannot WAIT to see what Johnny Weir is wearing then.

Oh yes, I saw Johnny skate. I have a really strange CRUSH on him. I was watching it over AIM with a friend, and the chat log is basically us making fun of costumes and being impressed every so often but mostly mocking everyone, and I think my exact words during Johnny Weir's program were "Oh you hot-pink beast, I would have your sparkly babies." That *outfit* good lord, I think it was my favorite all night just because of the hot pink tassel. His program was freaking awesome as well. *sigh* Oh, Johnny Weir.

About ten minutes after I commented, the cable went out. Last night was fail.

I will be there bright and early tomorrow night though! Long program, pretty spins and jumps, and men in sequence, IT WILL BE AWESOME.
