This week, the emotional rollercoaster from hell!

So, no follow up email/phone call/text message/messenger bird after my amazing interview last Thursday. WTH? I decided it was a test and tried to not freak out. I didn't call until today. Turns out my recruiter is on vacation, the dude who interviewed me keeps calling to push my final interview up, and the next step is them flying me somewhere for an in-person meet (but no one bothered to even say "boo" - you'd think if they really wanted me that bad, they'd at least have said something).

Baltimore folks: I won't be leaving right away! Apparently it's no big for me to live anywhere I want, I can just fly in and out of anywhere on their dime, so even if all goes swimmingly and I get hired, we'll be here at least until our lease runs out. Then it's probably back to the Midwest because it's close to my mom and sisters. And if I'm traveling a lot, I'd like to have family close for soleta and the kitties (if she decides to travel with me sometimes). We've already looked into houses in my hometown (the one we used to think was a palace is for sale - 5 bed, 2 bath for $154k... my face, you should have seen it) but that's a ways off, likely.

BUT! Last night I had a bad night, editing a podfic that was problematic for me on a number of levels (I'll post tonight), and then screwing up one of my betas (for the lovely pistolbunny) and feeling awful about it. And pistolbunny didn't want me to feel bad, so she made me some art! It's lovely and hilarious, but I won't post it here without permission. And then, because she's amazing, she went to zoronoa and had her make me some art, which is unfuckingbelievably amazing. It's a sketch of Jensen and man, if she produces that the way I produce shortfic, I am simply in awe. It's amazing, folks, go take a look and leave nice comments! That John keeps behaving in unexpected ways is irksome. That Sherlock still hasn't been able to determine whether or not John wants a physical relationship beyond cuddling on the sofa is… annoying. Vastly so.
