My
sga_santa story: War Crimes, WWII Lorne/Zelenka AU, R. Exactly what I asked for, an SGA AU with my new second-favorite pairing, thank you santa! Seriously, y'all can blame it on
gblvr, she's my Lorne/Zelenka enabler.
My
yuletide story: A Wat's Tale, Wat/Kate, G, a look at what happened to the gang (and especially Wat) after the end of A Knight's Tale. Again, exactly what I asked for, thank you my dear santa!
An incomplete listing of
sga_santa fics I enjoyed (since I've read approximately a third of them all):
Stargazing, Sheppard/McKay, PG-13, John is a bug and Rodney is an android, and I adore the sci-fi feel of this.
The Bumblebee Myth, Sheppard/McKay, PG-13, THEY ARE ALL BUGS. CRACKTASTIC.
All Dressed Up And... Sheppard/McKay, R, a slow and sensual look at John cross-dressing. Not my normal fare but I really enjoyed the attention to detail.
Five Stories Jeannie Miller Tells (to Madison Miller and Evelyn Sheppard-McKay, and One Story That Isn't Hers To Tell), Sheppard/McKay, PG, a really nice five things fic, summarized pretty much by its title.
The Hottest Blood of All, Sheppard/McKay, Sheppard/McKay/Lorne, NC-17. I love Christmastime. It makes me read things I would never think of before. I really enjoyed this, it was a fun romp.
An incomplete listing of
yuletide fics I enjoyed (since I've read approximately a hundredth of them all):
soleta's terrific Diana Wynne Jones - Howl series gift: Song, Howl/Sophie, PG, a really well written look at the pair of them.
gayalithiel's fantastic Rahm Emanuel/Barack Obama gift: Ten Sephirot, Nine and a Half Fingers, Eight Nights, 44 Presidents, Emanuel/Obama, NC-17, witty and hot and if I believed in hell, I'd have a first class ticket.
sock_me_amadeus's awesome True Blood gift: Union, justice et confiance, Bill/Sookie, G, an interesting history lesson. I don't even know this fandom, but I really enjoyed this.
RPF - So You Think You Can Dance: Suddenly I See, Travis/Ivan, R. I can't even tell you how much I love this, and I know there's only one or two of you out there who might ever be interested.
Constantine (Crossover with Batman): Libera Me, Constantine and Batman in Gotham, PG-13, a nicely dark crossover. Some really beautiful lines.
A Dog's Breakfast (not really, but sort of fused with SGA): Patrick and the Flim-Flam Man. Patrick and John Flanigan, PG-13. Like a mix of SGA RPF and McShep. I know, I know, should be A Dog's Breakfast, but we all know what happened here, and I rather enjoyed it, actually.
That xkcd fic that everybody's reccing: The Amazing Adventures of Hat Guy and the Girl Who Stole His Hat. Hat Guy/Girl Who Stole His Hat, PG-13, pitch-perfect to the strip.
ETA: An SGA Christmas fic that is so utterly charming (even though it's not for
sga_santa): A Boyfriend for Christmas by
scribblinlenore. ADORKABLE. I love these boys.
