So. I realized today, my mother forgot my birthday.

In other news, I was given a $5000 raise today out of the blue. WHOOPIE. And a large portion of my smug little soul thinks it's because when they finally ask me to become the Subcontracts manager, they won't have to give me as big of a raise now. IT IS INEVITABLE.

Also, in the good news category, the amazing fiercelydreamed wrote Chuck/Lorne that is gorgeously perfect and 1/4 dedicated to me. *preens*

So yeah, I'm feeling better about life, the universe, and everything. Thank you, oh awesome ones, for your kind words and helpful advice and squishy hugs. I love each and every one of you.
