A few lighter notes.
For some reason the ads on my to do list, powered by Google, are all about pregnancy. Am I missing something here? (And the list consists of things like "em D. Steinberg about ICPCG PO" and "scan goods receipts instructions to P: drive".) I must say I am intrigued by the "Baby Gender Predictor" (Proven Baby Sex Prediction Method.)
You know, speaking of that, we once had a morning radio guy named Murphy in my hometown that would predict the sex of babies if you called in to the show. I don't know how it got started, but when I left, he was something like 80% correct, which, considering it's one big guessing match, is rather impressive.
ETA: I've just emailed Murphy to ask about it, and he emailed me back! We're having a nice little chat!
My fingernails are long and shiny. That never happens.
I spent a fannish evening watching people dance (including two boys, yaye!) and deciding to vote for someone I don't believe can win. It was a nice break from my looming thoughts about writing and perception and other looming things.
fallingfortruth!!! (You're the only person that can appreciate this one.) Apparently Benji's dad is a big ol' gossip, and he was overheard mentioning that Ivan and Travis are dating! <333
P.S.
ninquelosse, I love you so much! And I will respond to you when I get home from work tonight.

on 8/24/07 11:37 am (UTC)Did I ever mention that someone once sent me a message about Elijah and all the ads were for pictures of Orli? I like that one a lot.
How did Orli's play go?

on 8/24/07 11:39 am (UTC)No, as a matter of fact, Murphy (subtly) ignored my two requests as to what his statistics were like, so I assume he's doing much worse these days (if he ever did well at all - my memory might be faulty). But he did grill me on my Packer knowledge, and I feel bad that I had to cheat and look up who Brady Poppinga was. :(
