Oh man, I mean... well, yeah, they did hook me, much in the way Supernatural hooked me, which is to say, when I saw Jiang Cheng on the cliff, I was like: I MUST KNOW HOW THE HELL WE CAME TO THIS.

I enjoy the Cloud Recesses stuff, but mostly because I adore wee Wen Ning and I get a bit of a Jiang Yanli/Wen Qing vibe that I'm big into. I don't mind the cutesy WangXian, either, so it's fine for me. But I also love high school and college AUs, so. :)

My least favorite part of the drama is actually the Xiao Xingchen, Xue Yang, and A'Jing part of the storyline. I enjoy the juniors and the "current timeline" parts of Yi City, but I never really got super into the flashback for it. I like them all well enough, it's just kind of 'meh' for me.
