Yeah, the whole Wei Wuxian having his own body thing... you know, I KIND of think CQL was not actually trying to do that, exactly? I just think maybe they thought it would be just too confusing if they had two different people (and also - matching the performance with a second actor would be difficult). As I understand it, when Wei Wuxian is resurrected, he doesn't have his mole? I didn't notice that until my second CQL watch but I've always wondered if that was supposed to be a nod that Wei Wuxian was in a different body?

But yeah, it's one of a few major differences between the book and the live action and I use CQL mostly because I'm mostly familiar with it, but I do prefer some of the characterization of the novel for sure.
