on 9/26/10 06:55 pm (UTC)Okay, first of all. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that you are so well able to police yourself. I've only once not finished an exchange fic, and felt horrible about it for months. I know that there are lots of people who sign up in all the excitement and then have to drop out, and while I don't fault them, I wish more of them knew themselves as well as you do.
How about pinch hits? There are a lot of stuff I don't sign up for but sign up as a pinch hitter, because sometimes I'll get blindsided by a story when a pinch hit request comes around.
