Personally, I think the trailer (and hence the movie) looks utterly fantastic. [personal profile] soleta can only watch it through her fingers. If you're a fan of the books, I am not certain that the movie will appeal. Or perhaps it will? I don't know, I hear a lot of book fans are rather horrified. I never let that stop me.

And either way, I highly recommend [personal profile] toft's fic, it's amazing. Maybe even moreso if you know/love the books.
