One down, nine to go!
9/10/13 09:56 amI wrote my first 10 in 10 fic, a short about Sam and Dean and movies. I didn't really infuse everything I wanted into it (I have feels about the boys and movies) but it's cute and has some of what I was trying to do. They Did the Monster Mash, if anyone's interested.
Got up on time and sat down to read the dwircle instead of shower and off to work. Feels like old times! And now I'm going to be late. It's dark out - I think the side I'm facing this week just doesn't get a lot of sunlight. Sucks because I rely on the sun to really wake me up, and now what I want is to climb back into bed and nap for an hour. No dice, though, today is 12 hour day because we have a team outing tomorrow (blarg, team outings, the last thing I want to do is to go out with a bunch of consultants) which means I'm going to miss the damn SYTYCD finale. ETA: Uh, no, I won't, because that's tonight. WTH, self? /ETA
Speaking of SYTYCD, I have thoughts! Basically they boil down to:
+ That tap duet was frigging AMAZING! MORE OF THAT PLEASE. And who was it (Jesse Tyler Ferguson?) that said "when is everyone going to have to do tap and ballet?" which I totally agree with.
+ JASMINE. JASMINE. JASMINE. I wish she didn't have a self-confidence issue, but welcome to the world of being a woman. I don't know one that doesn't have a self-esteem issue of some sort or another. I wish I could just hug it out of her, tell her how amazing she is.
+- Mark's first routine was AMAZING! And to see him dance again! I love him so much! And then, his finale piece... well. That was just more of the same, which sucks because it diminished his amazing piece from the week before. :(
+ Speaking of seeing people dance again - Travis! I love him so much, I really LOVE watching him dance, and he was so brilliant. I bought what he was selling, I cannot believe how convincing he was about being in love with Amy. Brilliant, Trav, brilliant.
+ I love both boys so I don't care who wins that part. I'm not sure how I feel about there being a boy and a girl winner. Good, I guess? Because boys overwhelmingly win otherwise, even when they shouldn't (think Katee, who was AMAZING (and yes, I loved Joshua, but the winner should've been Katee, hands down - and the show thought so too, or they wouldn't have given her that "extra" prize)).
And now I'm officially late to work, so, good job me. See you later!
ETA2: WHO HAS TWO THUMBS AND SEASON 8 OF SUPERNATURAL? THAT'S ME THANKS. *dances*
