Snowflake Challenge #8

In your own space, create a quiz or a poll (or tell us your thoughts about answering quizzes/polls).

I haven't done one of these in so long, omg. Also, I had one of the weirdest dreams EVER last night, in which the snowflake challenge for the day was to create a longform work of some sort ("take your time" with your canon, so also, like, consume it slowly, or whatever) and I was like... that seems a little not-snowflakey, but cool. It was a wild adventure dream too, we went all over the place, but man. That snowflake thing really stuck with me - I was still thinking that's what it was when I woke up.

ExpandSo, anyway, here's a poll I just made up! :D )

Two polls, and my thoughts about writing your fic exchange prompts.

[livejournal.com profile] sga_santa is live! I'll be putting up my request soon, but I was planning to post this before they went live. Whoops. It's here now, though. Losers folk, take a look at the poll further down pretty please?

Poll! What kind of fic do you read?

This is in no way scientific, but I was curious what y'all read, love, and reread. I'm curious to see if people like to read the same things I do, or if there's as wide a variety as it seems. Assume the writing quality on all is equal; given superior writing, what genres would you like to read?

Like I said, not science, so the 'genres' are based on tags from various communities.
