Fandom Snowflake Challenge, Day 14

This one's easy; still taking a pass on Day 13 because I'm still tired and it's going to take a lot of gushing and finding links and stuff.

I've done a lot of recs over the course of the fest, so I think here I'm just going to rec three vids that bring me great joy.

This vid just makes me grin so big. I love it so so so much. Probably because jeez, if anybody in the world needs a hug, it's the Winchesters.



My Brilliant Idea, McShep vid by lim (who has wonderful wonderful MCU vids, too).

This vid! OMG seriously, it is my very favorite McShep vid EVER. It is SO GOOD and SO PERFECT and SO THEM. I love them so much, and the song just makes me fucking laugh, EVERY TIME. I love it.



Parachute, Parker/Hardison/Eliot vid by [personal profile] thingswithwings.

This is such an amazing vid. It is so perfectly blocked and paced and makes me just so happy every time I watch it (and I rewatch it ALL THE TIME). It is the perfect reduction of canon I have ever seen and just so so so happy-making.

Oh, man, that McShep vid is my FAVORITE. I love it to death, the opening just kills me every time, and the whole section with Rodney's sister.

I have a lot of really angsty SPN vids in my folder (This is Torture, a gorgeous angsty Destiel vid (I love Destiel vids, almost as much as I don't like Destiel fics)) but this is one of the few that makes me grin like an idiot. Mostly due to the song and subject matter, I'm sure.

Oh, I really loved that hug vid. It's just so good to see those brief moments of pure happiness, cuz, like you say, those boys don't get enough of that.

Now, am I complete bitter asshole when I watch it and think, oh shit, dead, dead, werewolf, dead, Sam's back from the dead, Dean's back from the dead, etc. :P (Sorry, I'm in the Hannibal fandom too, so I found it morbidly funny and awful and just sorta swung back over to warm and fuzzy again and NOPE - NOTHING BAD HERE - denial).

Did that even make sense? :P I prob need to go sleeeeep. And hopefully I can start osting again tomorrow.

Hahaah, yeah, I got that too - the only purely happy hugs are Garth, pretty much. And a couple of the "wow, haven't seen you in a while" hugs, like with Charlie and the guy from Folsom Prison Blues. (Like the ones with Jody in Hibbing 911!)

At least we have Charlie, Garth and Jody as happy hugs. And the brothers actually hugging too. Stupid 'not talking to each other' thing. At least they've got hugs. ;)

I don't really watch a lot of fanvids, but all three are in fandoms that I'm in, so thank you for reccing these! The Leverage one was especially amazing, oh man. Makes me want to go rewatch the whole series :)
