(Yes, for fic; no, not sexy fic. And yes, it's been AGES since I've dealt with condoms and I pretty much avoided them even when I was having het sex because latex, ew.)

So, of course when you google "how to put on a condom" you get a Planned Parenthood's How to Put on a Condom video. Which has a fully-dressed dude talking about how grate condoms are. There is absolutely NO condom putting-on at all, not even on vegetables. There is a single-line drawing of a penis and a condom. What the hell. The thing says "it's important to know how to store, put on, and remove condoms." WHY YES, IT IS! WHY DON'T YOU SHOW ME HOW? The words they use are sperm, vagina, sex, and ejaculate (with a "tee hee, you know, comes" afterward). Uh, seriously, what the fuck is this? >:(

And then there's New Zealand. NZ's Get It On site's How to Put on a Condom video with real, erect penises, and where they say things like cock, dick, and fucking. Also on that site: How to Have Anal Sex videos, for tops and bottoms. That's real close-ups of just about everything there, kids. Super-educational if you're looking to write dudeslash for the first time.

You are a font of common sense and factual information, thank you. Sadly, the link is telling me that the videos have an invalid license for that site and will not play. I don't know if it's them or my browser or etc. :(
Currently the media sources in the other room are screaming, "I want to take you to a dive bar!" repeatedly. I'm not sure if I should just accept this is my life and move on without trying to read anything into it... or take it as a dire warning...

The videos worked for me. I use Opera, and it had a "click to engage plug-in" button, which I clicked. The videos are streaming, and took about a minute to load, but after that was good to go.

Kewl! You find the coolest things -- and the most aggravating, in the case of the PP vid. WTF, PP?? I'm sure they've bowdlerized their own website in reaction to the many attacks on them, but c'mon... they couldn't even provide a link to the LoveYourCondom site?? :-P

FWIW, I use Firefox in the U.S. & saw the vids 1st thing, tho' I haven't actually streamed them yet.
