The Fandom Snowflake Challenge Day 5

Stretch yourself a little and try something new. Go play in a new fandom or with a new pairing. Try working in a new medium. Or consume different fanworks. Give that new fandom a go. Listen to a podfic or watch some vids if you haven’t before.

Um. I'm going to count the last six hours that I've been a) rabidly watching SPN (more than halfway through S5 now) and b) editing Fanlore as doing something new.

My girlfriend is either going to kill me or die of embarrassment (because I love Castiel, OMG how could I not, it's like he was made for me, if only Misha would grow his hair long!). I'll let you know which happens first.

ETA: I don't think anyone (except meansgirl) is more behind at SPN than me, but just in case, spoilers in the comments.

I do know fans who were dedicated to the show in the early seasons for the Dean/Sam, who were angry and hurt by the introduction of Castiel and the road Sam was subsequently taken down.

But that's not me! I'm a Dean girl, and I love Dean/Castiel.

Oh, fandom wars. Not fun. I'm glad I'm super late to that party.

If I ship, it'll likely be Dean/Castiel, but even with Dean's crush on Dr. Sexy, I'm not quite there yet. I'm still formulating thoughts about angels, and Cas in particular, and then I'll see what I think about that.
