The Fandom Snowflake Challenge Day 2

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. Drop a link to your post in the comments. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom and maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them.

Oh boy, I haven't really been keeping track of stuff lately, eep. And the things I've been partaking of have been pretty much fic in large-ish fandoms, so (and I've been reccing Yuletide and Losers already, so...). Eep. Well, here are some things I can rec, anyway, from [livejournal.com profile] sga_santa which hasn't had reveals yet (LJ seems to be under attack again), so they'll have to be anon.

However Improbable, an SGA/Sherlock fusion where Rodney is Sherlock, John is... Lestrade, I suppose? And Ronon is Watson. It may take a second to hear them as British, but once you do, the story is delightful. It's an interesting take on it, a nice shortfic that captures both canons well. McShep, NC17, 5700 words

Keepsakes, a long, interesting bug!John fic. I'm not a huge fan of bug!John, tbh, but this one was Rodney's POV, and it was his steadfastness, his belief that really made this such a compelling read. Also, great Elizabeth in the first few scenes, lovely Ronon and Teyla throughout. McShep, PG13, 11,500 words

Fitting Together, a really interesting take on Cam and John. Solid Ronon and Rodney, good team. It's Cam POV and there's some interesting backstory that I truly enjoy. Plus ace!John which is a huge "yes, please!" for me. Cam/John, R, 4700 words.
