I am writing So You Think You Can Dance fic. Kent/Neil, introspective, based on this gorgeous piece (includes the bit before the routine, which... yeah). I can't believe I'm actually writing this. (Especially because I don't have time, I'm in the middle of a huge deadline for work, and I'm going to get this OTW grants stuff done before I go to bed, dammit, I'm GOING TO, don't look at me like that!)

I can't say I ship it, but I support the effort to do so! I'm totally curious though - is it about them rehearsing/performing, or some sort of thing where the piece is about them?

It's an introspective Kent POV piece, and the middle chunk is about the rehearsal/performance for this, and it's not even really shippy at all - just a little bit, if anything, no porn, which is sad because I'd kind of like to see that, I think.

When I was looking up vids for this, most of them were from the finale, which, interestingly enough, really was nowhere near as polished as the Top 4 show. Not really that polished at all, which has been weighing on my mind (I know it's because they had so little rehearsal time, but I'm still going to go there anyway, even knowing that).

Even more interestingly - Neil isn't on tour, so Kent's doing this piece with Robert. Needless to say, the couple of clips I saw were nowhere near as powerful (and I say this as someone who loves Robert). It's all so very interesting.
