16th: about an hour and a half of editing, and then I sent the fic off to beta. Also spent an hour or so reading through a draft of another thing. Still lots to go, though.

I hope it's good - if I end up biffing it I feel even worse if it was a good match. But still have hope at this point!

I kind of fell off the planet mid-September, but I'm trying to get back into it now. I managed a blog post last night, so I'm going to count that as my starting point.

Day 16: Set up the CSS for posting the longfic on my website and uploaded it as a draft on AO3. And fixed an apostrophe (there's always that little bit of editing to do...)

This is the Mondayest of Mondays, and I'm already tired. I did my writing--438 words--over lunch because I have an evening work obligation. *sighs*

Life happens at certain speeds, it appears, and mine has been full bore. Still, checking in for days 6-16, progress on assignments, signups, book club, and more. Soon to be new assignments, of course, and other such things, but apparently my brain needed the brainpower for WED check-ins on some other set of tasks. Whee.

I hear that! I am doing okay with managing the check-in posts so far, we'll see how it holds up to work travel later this month. Congrats on keeping all the plates spinning though!

Day 16: 368 words on the interminable wip. I aimed for 300 again, and having the slightly higher goal seems to be working, so that's something.

No plans this week, except to get through it 😬

Day 16: Wrote 500 words of werewolf fic; total wordcount 29,800.

Also spent about 40 minutes trying to research what regulations there were around religion for an officer in a mid-18th century Scottish army regiment. Was it okay for him to be either Episcopalian or Presbyterian? Finally found an article which sounded relevant: "The Realities of Toleration: Army Chaplaincy, Religious Politics and Scottish Military Experience, c.1690–1763". Not available freely online, so I abused my university access to request it. I bet the university library is wondering why someone in the math department needs that...
