Welcome to day two of the month! It was a great start yesterday, strong work writers!

This is my start of day 2, so I'm early for me, and while I can hope to do a little writing, it's probably unlikely. Good chance these posts and comments are my alibi sentences most days. :|

1 October -- Started a poem for the new Fan Flashworks prompt, and did research for my Innumerable Stars assignment.

Oct 2nd - 992 words. My 4 Monday double drabbles, and some work on a fic for posting.

Thanks! Now to see if I can make some progress ion my spook_me fic. I won't have much time for writing tomorrow, I have an appointment, so I want to get a decent chunk done today.

2 October: 168 really dreadful words that will almost certainly not survive the edit. But they will help get me to the edit. Trying to focus on that. I really feel like I'm having to write my way back into this fic, I don't think the good stuff is going to start coming out for a little while.

I almost didn't write at all today though - it was my first day back at work after being off sick with covid and I am completely shattered - so I'm proud of that at least.

That's right - the words have to exist for you to edit them! You can do it!

And you never know - I remember having some really rough days when I was writing longform, and when I went back to edit, I couldn't tell which parts were written on the good days and which were written on the bad. Maybe with some distance, they'll look like good words after all.

Congrats on getting words, that's an accomplishment after that kind of ordeal!

Day 2: I had the day off and was out and about, and came back so late I'm now more knackered than I usually am after work. Therefore, alibi sentence. Oops? That was not what I'd intended to do today ...

Day 2: Alibi paragraph on linguistics space opera, about 1,000 words on the !@#$ concept sheet of doom for a workshop I'm taking this month. The workshop's prep work and lectures have already proven very valuable! And also, my brain hurts. XD
