Who's watching SYTYCD?

What the hell just happened? There was Nigel's broken nose comment, then the dead silent auditorium, and suddenly we've skipped ahead a little to the three of them laughing... did Nigel's joke bomb SO BAD that they had to cut the audience reaction? Or did Jesse Tyler say something inappropriate for TV?

I have no idea what happened!

Sometimes the AV club posts good commentary and recaps ( not up yet) so may be there will be more info later?

I would love to know what actually happened - it was live, so they could only cut out so much of it before it aired. I'M SO CURIOUS!

The av club site posts recaps/reviews of shows they find interesting--alas, no joy there or on any of my googles so far --but odds are that Jesse Tyler Ferguson said something even more inappropriate than usual!
