A friend of a friend needs comfort reads - I've linked hir to my SGA McShep comfort fic recs, but xie also reads bandom and due South, which I do not. Got any recs for longish fics that make you happy? Slash good; I'm not sure about het, gen, or femslash, but give me those anyway, if you would. Oh, and Firefly - if you know of any good comfort fics (I never read much in that fandom, even though I do love the canon so).

My 2 stand-by are Cascade, 22,655 words, and Drums, 3803 words; both by Kylie Lee. Cascade has got some angst [ish] in the middle, but it ends very satisfyingly, and Drums is mostly [ish] a PWP.

Both Cam/Daniel, which I have no idea if friend reads, but I don't read a lot of straight-up SGA and I wanted to help. <3
