I added 300 words to my fic this morning! I was hoping for more, but time constraints.

Day 10: Taking a break from my own writing today; did some beta reading!

I am checking in but I haven't done any writing since Friday (though I did do some D&D prep on Saturday...I'm torn on whether to count it because it is creative but it's not prose so...hmm). Basically I crashed really badly at the weekend, emotionally and physically, so took the conscious decision to replenish the creative well, as it were, and focus on reading for at least a few days; I've fallen out of the habit of reading books the past few months and I always feel the knock-on effect of that especially if I'm trying to pull my own writing out.

Plus I'm just really tired XD But I'm slowly getting back to normal after covid so - maybe writing tomorrow!

Day 10 was back to work, but I had just enough energy when I came home after visiting my mother at the nursing home to add 463 words to the outline, still part of the scene I began yesterday. Again, "outline" may, at this point, be something of a misnomer. ;-)

Oct 10th - 1005 words on the spook_me fic. I'm getting closer to the end ay least, although it is now 8.5k, and will probably need another 1k to wrap it up. Then I have to divide it into chapters and edit... Argh!
