My goal for October is to finish the novel outline I started in September. I should be editing the novel I finished in August, but this is quite obviously a procrastination technique (I dislike editing) and also a passion project, a kind of cozy post-apocalypse m/m romance, so I'm going to go ahead with it. I'm even considering doing NaNo this year to write the thing (working title: The Priest and the Outlaw). I successfully completed NaNo for ten years in a row and then realized I'd peaked, so to speak, because I was competing with myself every year to shave days off the finish line, and it was getting more than a little unhealthy for me. We'll see if I'm up to trying it again.
Day 1, I added 277 words to the outline (which is a narrative outline, so fairly beefy, words-wise). It would have been more, but I overdid it on yardwork and am paying the price in tiredness.
