Ahahah, yeah, if I did full podfics it would be a lot - the editing is twice as much as the recording, for most people who do that - but I just do cold reads, so I read and slap it up there. It's still a fair amount of time, but it's not a lot of work other than the read itself, which is the fun part for me.

Congrats on your writing! I think most creative endeavors wax and wane, so you're in a good spot. It's good not to get too upset over it, I think! I have been doing it for 18 years now, though, and life feels very different when I'm writing to when I'm not writing, and I don't usually like it very much when I'm not. But I've been going strong this year so far, so hopefully I can keep it up. Here's to a wordy 2023 for both of us!
