Oh, yeah, the volunteer is just to stuff particular stockings that need a little more love (meaning they don't have too much in them yet). You can do anything that inspires you, from making treats (and if you're AO3 savvy, you can post them to the Fandom Stocking - 2012 collection and they'll stay unrevealed until the stocking goes live) to writing hellos or cheer or... whatever! Anything. :D
