Ah, I do love some of the offbeatness of J-Flan. I have to admit John would not be so nuanced without him (or the remarkably short memories of the writers). Someone wrote a really interesting thing about the bud - about him wanting to fit in with the guys, and that the guys drank shitty beer. I remember thinking it felt true - especially since we see him sipping cognac with Woolsey, too.
