Yesyesyes to the weird cuts on the Meatloaf track. I sing that song every time it comes on the radio, and the cuts were so distracting I couldn't enjoy the dance.
I think Kent has matured amazingly over the last month. He has dropped the grin-as-armor thing and is responding directly to what the judges have to say. Somehow, he's managed to do that, dance more and more like a man than like a boy, and still be cute as a bug. I think he's acknowledging his sexual side, something which maybe he couldn't do in his hometown, and that's really bringing his steadier, more confident self to the fore.
Dom/Jose was not all that--I agree with you. It was good dancing, but they were not in unison in some places where they were doing the same tricks, etc. I was just glad Jose got back in the judges' good graces.
I'm going to have a terrible time voting pretty soon, because we're getting down to the point where I really love them all.
