New Angel episode last night

Ok, I think I am going to enjoy this new Angel. I hope the season continues to be this funny.

Three things, though:
1. Gunn looks way better bald.
2. That liaison chick has GOT to die
3. The fighting had better shape up. If you can't make the wirework look good, forego it altogether. And get Boreanaz back into training if he can't pull punches anymore. He was way wide on his punches and telegraphing all of his opponents' hits.

While I like Harmony, I reallllllllllllly hope she doesn't hang around too long.

On the plus side, here's some great lines:

Angel: Just so you know, I *don't* have a problem spanking men.

Bad guy: You little fairy.
Angel: I'm not little!

Spike appears.
Wesley: Spike.
Angel: (menacing) Spike.
Harmony: Blondie bear?

From next week's ep:
Angel: I'm from Wolfram and Hart.
Spike: I'm his date.

Woohoo! Yay for Spangel slashiness. I love that Joss is aware of the slashiness of his fandom. He's so funny. Yay for getting back on track with Angel.

Reminds me of Johnny Depp in the Final Nightmare... this is your brain (egg). This is your brain on drugs (fried egg). Those commercials cacked me up. And to see Johnny doing one... bwa ha ha.
